The question of the day is whether or not Georgia can win the national championship. Sure they can. Maybe. If luck is on their side.
Luck? There's always some luck involved whether it's a tipped pass or missed field goal or bad call. Every team seems to win one game that was slipping away.
Georgia has already some good and bad luck. The losing of their left guard Sturdivant was pretty unlucky, but it was lucky for them that they lost the player in August instead of during a game where it could have cost them a win. Georgia has also been lucky that Kentucky and LSU have had to dismiss potentially starting QBs, and that at least five Florida players have had ACL tears.
Georgia will be pretty lucky if it avoids any other major-player injuries through out the season.
Their schedule is very tough, but it is possible for them to have one loss and win the championship--especially if that loss is not to Florida or Tennessee.
We'll see.

I hav'nt been following College football close lately, but I heard that Georgia had more problems/injuries than just one lineman. What I heard was that their starting quarterback was injured and "out"!? I seem to remember seeing/hearing, though I can't remeber, other serious "problems" with a few key players/starters from Georgia.
Even if Georgia had no problems going into this season..........I still think they, and any/every other team competing in or with the SEC, will definitely have their work "cut out for them".
Come clean........what's the full scoop of problems/injuries associated with U of Ga this year?
Oh, and another thing regarding Georgia's "chances" at winning the title this year............
What do you mean by "especially if Georgia's one loss is NOT to Florida or Tennessee"? Are you saying it would be and "look better" for Georgia's one loss to be to Vanderbilt and/or some other slouch such as the "Catamountst"!?
What the hell........
You must of meant "especially if their one loss IS to Florida or Tennessee" rather than is NOT. Otherwise, you got some splaining to do man.
Georgia's QB hasn't been hurt this season.
What I meant about Georgia's losses shouldn't be to Florida or Tennessee is that losses to either of those two teams could keep them out of the SEC championship game if those teams have equal records, where an upset by Vanderbilt but wins over FL and TENN could still get them into the game because VANDY still probably won't have as good of a conference record as Georgia.
